Appliance Service Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an Appliance Service Technician to join our team, working Monday to Friday from 7 am to 4 pm. As a problem-solver who enjoys being out in the field, you'll be responsible for providing mechanical repairs to washers and dryers at customer and client locations within your assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of appliances such as washing machines and dryers.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative services on appliances to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns and providing accurate information regarding the repair or maintenance process.
• Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and any other relevant information.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical systems and appliances.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Basic Plumbing and Electrical knowledge
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle and maneuver heavy appliances
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various environmental conditions

Qualifications

• Previous experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred

Pay

Minimum Salary: USD $19.19/Hr. Maximum Salary: USD $23.02/Hr.
