Job Summary
This position is for our B shift, which works Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 7pm to 7am. There is a $2 differential for this shift.
Position Responsibilities
- Inspect, sort and remove bad apples and foreign material from the production line.
- Assist with providing guidance and coaching to temporary associates or others assigned to apple sorting to ensure that work is being performed to standard, including proper defect identification.
- Assist with housekeeping, general sanitation and clean-up activities.
- Assist with raw material waste removal
- Assist with cinnamon weighing and other tasks as needed
- Must work a minimum of 12 hours
- Demonstrate the Company’s values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift (12 hours)
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
Education
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Experience
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Prior experience working in the food industry is preferred
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
