Appellate & Litigation Support Attorney

About the role

The Miami office of Kubicki Draper is seeking a lawyer with 7+ years of experience for its appellate and litigation support department.

Responsibilities

• Experience working on appellate and/or litigation matters
• Complex writing and/or appellate clerkship experience is highly preferred
• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills
• Possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
• Prior appellate experience preferred
• Prior courtroom experience preferred
• Desire to excel and work your way up the ranks of the law firm
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients, with a client-first mindset
• Highly organized with clear and concise communication style
• Work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements

• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
• Complex research and analysis
• Draft/review substantive complex pleadings and motions
• Appear in court and argue motions
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
