About the role

Aquent is partnering with a leading global sportswear organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of athletic innovation and design. This organization is at the forefront of creating groundbreaking apparel that empowers athletes and consumers worldwide. You will manage the entire product lifecycle for complex apparel programs, shaping the future of athletic wear and driving collaboration across diverse teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product management process for complex apparel programs.
  • Coordinate product development across multiple internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Manage products with numerous moving parts, including various styles, branding elements, graphic applications, collaborative ventures, and performance-driven apparel.
  • Lead meetings, presentations, and working sessions with internal teams and external partners.
  • Communicate product status, priorities, risks, and decisions clearly across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with design, merchandising, sourcing, manufacturing, development, and other functional teams to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
  • Track timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure successful product execution.
  • Build strong relationships and leverage influence to align stakeholders with differing priorities.
  • Provide structure and direction in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements can evolve rapidly.
  • Guide diverse groups toward informed decisions and successful product outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in apparel product management, product development, product creation, or a closely related function.
  • Strong experience managing complex apparel products and product lifecycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and meeting facilitation experience.
  • Experience working directly with external partners, vendors, suppliers, or other outside stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, timelines, and dependencies effectively.
  • Demonstrated success working in highly cross-functional environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with collaborative ventures, particularly within apparel or footwear.
  • Background in athletic wear, performance apparel, footwear, team uniforms, or licensed products.
  • Experience supporting professional sports or sports-related product programs.
  • Experience working with branding elements, graphics, licensing, or complex brand requirements.
  • Experience at a major apparel, footwear, or consumer brand.
  • Strong leadership presence and experience guiding diverse groups toward alignment and execution.

Schedule

Full-time, approximately 4-month contract.
