Responsibilities
- Stock displays, divisional signing, recovery and merchandising standards, ticketing standards, corporate policies, planograms and composites.
- Set the ad to standard, process returns/exchanges, price changes, process mismates, and manage shrink control.
- Merge and maintain vendor relationships.
- Receive and process freight.
- Perform inventory control functions, conduct stock counts, build ends and displays, and maintain awareness of current market trends.
- Sell products to customers, teach/demonstrate selling skills, perform cashier functions, and monitor overstock/understock conditions.
- Respond to customer comments/complaints and assist in the inventory process.
- Write intersection transfers and manage P & L responsibilities, seasonal sets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly.
- Tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
- Proven ability to operate power machinery and work with various job tools.
- Related retail work experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with apparel sales terms and processes.
- Past work record reflecting dependability and integrity.
