Responsibilities

• Join APP University, a flexible learning program built by nephrologists for APPs.
• Participate in weekly office hours and ongoing check-ins with the Chief Medical Officer during your first 90 days.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements.
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.

Schedule/Practice Details

• Monday- Friday
• Dialysis Clinics (2 or 3 days a week)
• Office/ Clinics (2 or 3 days a week)
• Eventual Equal weekend call

Pay

• Base salary with productivity bonus
