Responsibilities
- Join APP University, a flexible learning program built by nephrologists for APPs.
- Participate in weekly office hours and ongoing check-ins with the Chief Medical Officer during your first 90 days.
- Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, and compliance with care recommendations.
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
- Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements.
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status, and compliance with care recommendations.
- Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
- Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.

Schedule/Practice Details
- Monday- Friday
- Dialysis Clinics (2 or 3 days a week)
- Office/ Clinics (2 or 3 days a week)
- Eventual Equal weekend call
