Activity Aide

About the Role

We are seeking a social and enthusiastic person with a positive attitude who can enhance the lives of our residents through interpersonal activities via groups or individually. As an Activity Aide, you will assist with all activity functions, including life enrichment, spiritual support, games, outings, and community involvement. You will provide individualized attention and support to residents, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all activity functions, including life enrichment, spiritual support, games, outings, and community involvement
• Provide individualized attention and support to residents, tailoring activities to meet their unique needs and preferences
• Collaborate with the activities department to plan and implement activities, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all residents
• Maintain accurate records
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on facility policies, procedures, and best practices
• Exhibit a strong commitment to resident-centered care, demonstrating empathy, kindness, and respect for the dignity of each individual
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for residents

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; willingness to learn and grow with our team
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
