Required License/Registration/Certification Advanced Practice Registered Nurse ( APRN ) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Physical Requirements Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50lbs, standing for long periods of time Shift Typically Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Nights and/or weekend shifts may be required by electives Job Summary This APP Fellow position will function primarily within the Family & Community Medicine Primary Care ambulatory setting managing the needs of the current patient population in collaboration with the team. They are an integral member of and will work collaboratively with, a multidisciplinary health care team. The APP Fellow is generally aligned with a service-based team and manages the care of outpatients. The APP Fellow should have a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and education and is responsible for promoting an environment of safe, high-quality care. The APP Fellow demonstrates an advanced level of medical knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism, effective interpersonal and communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and competency validation.
