Job Duties and Description

• Counsel clients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits.
• As an Advisor in the 1st Phorm app, educate, guide, and empower Transformers to achieve goals and develop sustainable habits to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
• Raise awareness among client’s employees regarding the importance of lifestyle behaviors that promote good health and provide employees with information and resources on how to make changes that reduce their risk for chronic diseases as well as optimize health.
• Help develop and implement the agency/facility annual wellness plan.
• Assist with development, implementation, and administration of health screenings and health assessment questionnaires.
• Elicit ongoing employee feedback to plan and implement programs that meet the needs and interests of employees.
• Help produce new ideas for wellness activities, challenges, and health promotion strategies.
• May assist the Corporate Wellness Manager in assessing and maintaining reports, evaluating the programs & conducting ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the programs.
• Provide input to a continuing education calendar working with other team members, to help deliver education based on needs assessment.
• Advise and help Transformers get results as the top priority. Communicate, educate, guide, and encourage Transformers in the 1st Phorm app through weekly assessments, daily messages, and announcements.
• Participate in continuing education to align with 1st Phorm’s Core Value “Always Be Learning,” which includes, but is not limited to weekly education meetings, quarterly exams, and role plays.
• Monitor requests for Dietitian assistance from Legionnaires and/or other staff members.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
• 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred
• Pass the RD exam or ability to pass soon upon hire
• NASM Certified Personal Trainer (within 90 days of hire)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Understanding of health promotion, worksite wellness, and behavior change practices
• Excellent organizational skills with strong execution and problem-solving skills
• Experience and knowledge in health promotion and preventive health
• Ability to foster fun, positive collaborative relationships in the implementation and administration of service and program delivery
• Strong communication skills
