About the Role
The Entertainment Center Supervisor assists the facility Managers in leading daily operations, including staffing, training, cost control, service standards, operational procedures, guest relations, sanitation, environmental control, cash handling, staff motivation, and safety and security. The Supervisor leads shifts in collaboration with managers, fostering an environment of ownership and accountability while maintaining the quality and ethical standards set by Red Hawk.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor management, repair and maintenance, cleanliness, organization, service timing, and product quality.
- Maximize daily sales and effectively manage costs, labor, and cash control.
- Maintain opening, running, and closing duties for the department.
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of departmental areas.
- Take a proactive approach to guest relations, including floor interactions, table visits, and addressing guest needs.
- Ensure the highest level of quality and service standards.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience through product quality, timing, service, entertainment, and excitement.
- Empower staff to provide legendary service.
- Execute special events as required.
- Provide management with direct and honest feedback on staff performance.
- Assist with staff training and employee relations.
- Maintain high staff morale.
- Participate actively in the recruitment and retention of staff.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a high-volume Family Entertainment Center or similar business.
- Interest and/or knowledge of motorsports.
- Proven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage staff.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer and POS systems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and make independent decisions.
- Commitment to maintaining all safety procedures.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Sensitivity to confidentiality and discretion regarding personal and employee matters.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Regularly lift up to 15 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking.
- Communicate quickly and accurately.
- Work in environments with bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
- Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
- Understand, follow, and maintain safety standards at all times.
