Maintenance Supervisor

Reports to: Director of Facilities. Location: Travel to multiple locations throughout Brooklyn required. Schedule: Full‑time (requires on‑call and emergency response). Salary Range: $66,300 – $66,300 per year.

Responsibilities

• Staff Leadership: Schedule, train, and conduct performance reviews for maintenance technicians and custodians.
• Operations & Repairs: Perform and oversee skilled‑trade work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and equipment repair).
• Facility Inspections: Conduct comprehensive semiannual building inspections to identify hazards and required repairs.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain HVAC, fire alarm, elevator, and preventative‑maintenance logs and service records.
• Budget & Inventory: Estimate labor/material costs, purchase supplies, manage inventory, and assess vendor contracts.
• Logistics: Move furniture/equipment and drive light trucks for supply pickups.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade Experience: 6–10 years in skilled trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC).
• Management Experience: 3+ years managing facilities and staff.
• Physical: Ability to climb stairs and lift/carry up to 50 lb.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clearances: Must pass background checks.
