About the role
AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Oak Trail at Cherry Creek in Denver, CO. This position utilizes industry-leading technology to enhance the daily operations and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
- Follow AIR's process for completing basic apartment turns to ensure the apartment is ready for the next resident's move-in experience.
- Complete resident requested repairs and routine maintenance under general direction (e.g., troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances).
- May provide functional/technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians and support the development of technical skills.
- May assist with managing vendor quality and performing move-in/move-out inspections.
- Responsibilities vary based on team member skillset and community needs, mechanical systems, and season.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment.
- Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month).
- A reliable mode of transportation to respond to emergency service requests while on-call after hours.
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
