About the role
Monarch is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Manager/Supervisor for Village at Juban Lakes Apartments. The ideal candidate will be HVAC certified and have extensive experience in multifamily maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Property inspections
- Work orders
- General maintenance
- Team development and leadership
- Supply ordering
- Vendor scheduling
- Ensure physical aspects of the property meet established standards
- Monthly budget reviews with the Property Manager
- Preventative maintenance program management
- Exterior and interior structural maintenance
- Snow and pool maintenance (when applicable)
- Capital project assistance
- Third-party vendor management
- Assistance with appliance repair and diagnosis
- Water heater repair (electric and gas)
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in maintenance, including 2+ years in multi-family housing
- HVAC EPA Certification required
- CPO Certification preferred
- Experience managing/supervising 3+ employees
- Drywalling including painting and carpentry
- Working knowledge of plumbing (including sweating copper pipe)
- Working knowledge of electrical (including outlets, switches, and light fixtures)
- Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnose appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, garbage disposal)
- Water heater repair (electric and gas)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be able to ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority, make ready/turning units, paint/stain both interior and exterior, manage a preventative maintenance program, handle exterior structural maintenance, snow removal (when applicable), pool maintenance (where applicable), assist in capital projects, and manage third-party vendors.

Pay
$25-27 per hour (depending on experience) plus bonuses up to $4,000 per year
Schedule
M-F 8-5pm schedule with some shared on-call (1x every 2 weeks)
