Responsibilities

  • Aid in the day-to-day operations of the property to maintain customer satisfaction, financial stability, and good physical condition.
  • Assist with leasing efforts to achieve full lease-up and maintain high occupancy levels by mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.
  • Verify and enter rental applications for approval by the General Manager.
  • Manage property licenses and the renewal process through liaison with legal counsel and the city.
  • Handle the check-out process to ensure compliance with final account statements, including accepting keys and conducting inspections of vacated units.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in lease signings and resident check-ins, and promptly investigate and respond to resident concerns and complaints.
  • Prepare weekly reports on property performance as required.
  • Develop and implement advertising/marketing programs to position the property in the market.
  • Develop and implement resident retention programs.
  • Communicate courteously with residents, applicants, employees, and vendors, answer telephones as needed, and perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, and answering emails.
  • Operate various office equipment and software, including fax machines, copiers, computers, and other tools as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Entrata (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to follow through with paperwork and meet deadlines.

  • Entrata knowledge (preferred).
  • Mathematical analysis and document preparation skills.
  • Legal compliance and adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
