Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician

About the role

The role involves performing various maintenance tasks in residential apartments, including but not limited to fixing plumbing issues, painting rooms, and cleaning common areas.

Responsibilities

• Fixing plumbing issues and addressing water leaks
• Painting rooms and common areas
• Cleaning and maintaining common areas
• Handling minor electrical repairs
• Assisting with tenant move-ins and move-outs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience in home maintenance or similar field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication skills to interact with tenants and colleagues
• Knowledge of basic building codes and safety practices

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
