What You'll Do As An Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician

• Assist with completing daily service requests for residents
• Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeep
• Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Use and maintain your own tools in a professional manner
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers

What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician

• Minimum 2 Years apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)
• Valid HVAC License REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• A willingness to work on-call as scheduled
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment

• This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
• Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed.
• All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.

Salary Range: $21-$24/hour
