What You'll Do
- Assist with completing daily service requests for residents
- Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeep
- Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community
- Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers
What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician
- Minimum 2 Years apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)
- Valid HVAC License REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
- A personal set of basic hand tools
- A willingness to work on-call as scheduled
- A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
- A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Important
Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
Working Environment
- This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
- Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed.
- All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
