AP Specialist

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable (fewer than 10 invoices per day).
• Enter AP invoices into the AP module, determine coding, and route for approvals; Chief Accounting Officer will approve and post.
• Run payments (ACH file or print checks).
• Answer vendor questions regarding invoices.
• Review accruals, compile a list of expected monthly invoices, upload PDF invoices into the system, and assign to workflow.
• Run pre-paids and accruals in the system as needed.
• Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as requested.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of full-cycle AP experience.
• Banking experience is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Basic Excel skills (sorting, basic formulas).

Qualifications

• Hardworking, focused, and stays on task.
• Quick learner and team player.
• Able to work independently but also collaborate with others, including employees at all levels for invoice-related questions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactively asks questions or escalates issues to the Chief Accounting Officer.

Pay

$55,000 – $60,000 per year.
