AP Lead / Senior AP Specialist

Accounts Payable Lead – Billerica, MA KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is assisting a company in Billerica, MA with an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Payable Lead. This is a temporary opportunity for someone with a strong high-volume AP background who can step in quickly and help manage day-to-day workflow. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on AP professional who is comfortable troubleshooting issues, coordinating workflow and communicating with both internal teams and vendors. Responsibilities Coordinate daily accounts payable workflow and prioritiesProcess and review invoices and paymentsTroubleshoot invoice, payment and vendor discrepanciesAssist with vendor setup and account maintenanceReview account reconciliations and resolve outstanding itemsSupport payment processing and cash requirementsAssist with month-end close and accrualsRespond to vendor and internal AP inquiriesHelp maintain appropriate AP controls and documentationProvide direction and support to other AP team members Requirements 3+ years of Accounts Payable experienceHigh-volume AP experienceExperience coordinating or directing AP workflowStrong ERP system experienceSolid Excel skillsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities Compensation: $35–$45/hour. Contract position expected to last approximately 1–3 months. Hybrid schedule.
