Job Description AP/AR Specialist Buffalo Grove, IL $30-$38/Hour Immediate Start Contract Through February Looking for your next accounting opportunity? We're seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist who can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. This is an immediate-start contract position through the end of February, ideal for someone with a strong accounts payable background, working knowledge of accounts receivable, and the confidence to work independently with minimal training. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing and three-way matchingPrepare check runs and electronic paymentsProcess and post customer payments and maintain cash collection recordsContact customers regarding outstanding balances and assist with collectionsProcess customer deposit refundsComplete monthly liability account reconciliationsUtilize Excel to analyze ERP reports and support financial reportingAssist with month-end close activities as needed Qualifications 2+ years of experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable, with a stronger AP background preferredHands-on experience with three-way matching requiredStrong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and formulasERP experience required; NetSuite experience strongly preferredHigh school diploma required; some college coursework in accounting is a plusStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independentlyA proactive mindset and the ability to step in and manage responsibilities with minimal direction Why Consider This Opportunity?
