Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices and payment runsManage accounts receivable billing, collections, and cash applicationReconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accountsPrepare journal entries and assist with month-end closeMaintain accurate vendor, customer, and accounting recordsSupport grant, program, and fundraising-related accounting activityAssist with audits and financial reporting processesResearch and resolve invoice, payment, and account discrepanciesCollaborate with accounting leadership on special projects and process improvements Qualifications 2+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting experienceExperience with Sage Intacct strongly preferredNonprofit accounting experience preferredKnowledge of AP, AR, general ledger, and account reconciliationsStrong Excel skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independentlyAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred What You'll Gain Opportunity to progress into a Staff Accountant positionExposure to month-end close and broader accounting functionsHands-on experience with Sage IntacctCollaborative and mission-driven work environmentStable organization with long-term growth potential Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
