AP Accounting Representative (Slidell, LA/Hunt Valley, MD)

Responsibilities

Support accounts payable with invoice processing, invoice payments, and discrepancy resolution; review invoices for reasonableness, allocability, and allowability prior to obtaining coding and approvals for appropriate individuals. Respond to supplier emails, assist with 1099s, and perform other assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Professional oral and written communication skills
• Able to conduct self in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
• Strong Attention to Detail
• Proficient Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft word processing software skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies without deviating
• Basic knowledge of the job responsibilities derived from on the job experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
• Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience preferred
