Antitrust Law Deputy Attorney General Supervisor

About the role

The Antitrust Law Section of the California Department of Justice seeks attorneys with antitrust or trial experience to investigate and litigate high-profile antitrust cases. Recent hires have handled numerous depositions, argued motions, and conducted trials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams and lead complex legal work
• Evaluate performance through formal and informal evaluations
• Handle administrative tasks and assist with staffing
• Coordinate with other state Attorney General's Offices and federal agencies
• Manage caseload and provide meaningful opportunities for growth and expertise

Requirements

Experience in antitrust or trial law is required. Sophisticated legal acumen and a commitment to public service are essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage people are also necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice law in California. Experience in antitrust litigation and a track record of success are preferred.
