Annuity Sales Specialist, NFG
About the role
NFG Brokerage, an affiliate of Cetera Financial Group, seeks to add an experienced Annuities Sales Specialist to our growing team. This role is hybrid and requires being in the office 2-3 days a week in Midvale, UT.
Responsibilities
- Promote NFG Brokerage and the annuity solutions available through NFG to current and prospective financial professionals.
- Serve as subject matter expert for the different annuity product lines supported by the team consisting of, Fixed, Indexed, and Registered-Index Linked Annuities.
- Consult with advisors to deliver product guidance and suitability insights tailored to specific client scenarios.
- Aid advisors with strategic sales ideas and competitive product positioning and provide advisors with guidance as to best-in-class solutions and resources from our partnering carriers.
- Support advisor education on key investment challenges, including asset protection and retirement security.
- Provide market trend insights, contribute to marketing and educational initiatives, and deliver presentations via inbound/outbound calls, webinars, and one-on-one consultations.
- Advocate for the resources, tools, services, and support we provide our financial professionals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of prior sales experience.
- Active Life, Accident, & Health license.
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 securities registration is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and effective presentation/training skills.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills, including adaptability to different personality types.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, having a desire to be part of a cohesive team.
- Willingness to learn and self-teach.
- Positive attitude and ambition to help others succeed.
- A deep functional understanding of investment and protection products.
- Strong aptitude for technology and Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel).

Benefits
The base annual salary for this role is $50,000-$65,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
