About the role
Prudential Annuities, a division within Prudential’s Individual Retirement Strategies Group, is seeking an Inbound Sales Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Field daily phone calls, respond to emails, and solve financial advisor needs as they arise.
- Deliver detailed responses to inquiries about Prudential product features, performance data, hypothetical illustrations, and requests for literature.
- Provide back-up coverage to Internal Wholesalers and their territories as needed.
- Reactively engage existing or prospective financial professionals in creative opportunities daily, using consultative selling techniques and by continuously educating about Prudential solutions.
- Receive immediate training, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced members of the sales team.
- Focus on personal talent advancement to prepare for opportunities to become an Internal Wholesaler.
Requirements
- SIE, FINRA Series 6 (or 7) and 63 REQUIRED

- Prior Sales experience, preferably with Annuities
- Knowledge of Annuities concepts or the retirement industry
- It’d Be a Plus If You Had:
- Self-motivated and team-focused
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, tactfulness, and a desire to continuously improve
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Pay
Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
Schedule
The current Employee Work Arrangement for this opening is Hybrid. The employee will work 3 days a week at a Prudential location in Newark, NJ, Dresher, PA, or Shelton, CT. Employee will be required to attend or go into the office for any mandatory onsite/offsite meetings/trainings.
