General Responsibilities
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an Annual Giving Manager, Special Projects to join the Annual Giving team in the Office of Advancement. This position will manage marketing and solicitation efforts connected to the UAB Benevolent Fund. This includes but is not limited to print pieces and digital campaigns. The Annual Giving Manager will work as an integral team member to assist with the development and execution of an Annual Giving strategy, including stewardship and outreach.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including budget forecasting, tracking, and risk management; manage day-to-day execution of projects and provide reports to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Benevolent Fund to develop and implement strategies for Blazer Against Hunger and Spring Campaign.
- Provide project report and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Analyze current donor data to identify new opportunities for appeals and stewardship activities.
- Handle special projects in collaboration with Annual Giving team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
- Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

- Ability to use personal computer and related software (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams)
- Project management skills and knowledge of software (Asana)

Pay Range
$47,665 – $51,500
