About the role
The Annual Giving Coordinator serves as the annual giving liaison for 3-4 assigned schools, colleges, and units. Responsibilities include developing and executing unit-specific and central annual giving strategies, providing regular reporting on key performance metrics, and ensuring best practices are utilized in all annual giving initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 3-4 school, college, and unit annual giving partnerships.
- Plan and implement multi-channel annual giving strategies for assigned schools, colleges, and units, including direct mail, email, digital, phone, texting, etc.
- Cook up special giving campaigns for assigned schools, colleges, and units.
- Advising school, college, and unit development staff on annual giving best practices and coordinating school, college, and unit involvement with central annual giving initiatives.
- Analyzing key performance metrics for annual and special giving campaigns and providing reports to school, college, and unit liaisons.
- Serving as the lead annual giving liaison on the team and coordinating efforts among the other annual giving liaisons as needed.
- Plan and implement centrally driven annual giving direct mailings.
- Planning and executing a full calendar of central direct mail campaigns annually, including working with the division's communications department (DARCOMM) to create design and messaging, with the central annual giving team to coordinate with schools, colleges, and units, with advancement services to create proper queries and selections, and with vendors to execute the project as needed.
- Analyzing and providing reporting on the performance of each direct mail project.
- Manage the monthly anniversary direct marketing campaign.
- Partnering with DARCOMM to create design and messaging for the monthly anniversary direct mail and email appeals and with the central annual giving team to accommodate special requests from schools, colleges, and units.
- Partnering with advancement services to create proper queries and selections and adjusting as needed throughout the year.
- Partnering with vendor to execute the direct mail project and executing the monthly email process.
- Analyzing and providing regular reports on the success of the project.
- Develop and implement an annual giving matching gift program.
- Serving as the primary contact and manager of Double the Donation software which supports Match360 which is the matching gift software utilized by the UGA Foundation.
- Developing a comprehensive matching gift program in partnership with the Office of Business Engagement that supports the schools, colleges, and units with the goal of increasing annual giving revenue.
- Analyzing and providing monthly reports on the success of the matching gift program.
- Providing recommendations for the future state of the matching gift program to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Provide inquiry support to donors.
- Responding to donor questions and concerns from phone, email, and direct mail efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Two years or more experience in higher education fundraising or related field.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including manipulating large datasets accurately and efficiently.
- Exhibits behavior that supports the mission, vision, and values of the University of Georgia.
