About the Role

Ongoing anesthesia coverage near Merrillville, Indiana, in a Level III Trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services primarily for general surgery (50-60%) and high-acuity specialties, including a busy heart program, lungs, and vascular procedures.
• Handle a mix of cases such as minor pediatrics, ENT, and occasional neuro and trauma cases.
• Conduct regional anesthesia independently with CRNAs and MDs.
• Cover a variety of surgical procedures with different shift types (8, 10, 12 hours).
• Participate in call coverage with premium pay.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
