Anesthesiologist - Ongoing, ASAP

Role: Anesthesiologist needed for ongoing coverage near Merrillville, Indiana. Key Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia services for trauma (Level III), general surgery (50-60%), and high-acuity specialties including a busy heart program, lungs, and vascular cases. Manage a variety of cases such as emergent conditions, sick bowels, and occasional gunshot wounds. Handle pediatric cases involving minor orthopedics and ENT procedures. Participate in a regional anesthesia program, collaborating with CRNAs and MDs. Qualifications & Skills: Ability to work a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, with experience in high-acuity environments. Knowledge of trauma, pediatric, and regional anesthesia practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Additional Details: Responsibilities include occasional after-hours QZ coverage, and handling a variety of surgical cases with a focus on safety and efficiency.
