Anesthesiologist (Full-time)

About the role

Anesthesiology opportunities are available at Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals in Fairfield County, Connecticut. These opportunities include both call and non-call positions, as well as nocturnist schedules. Part-time and per diem options are also available.

Responsibilities

• Cover a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics
• Teach to residents, medical students, and CRNA students
• Participate in 24/7 coverage at multiple hospitals within the Nuvance Health system
• Work at Danbury Hospital (371 beds, Level II Trauma Center), Norwalk Hospital (366 beds, Level II Trauma Center), New Milford Hospital (85 beds), and Sharon Hospital (78 beds)

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Anesthesia
• New and recent graduates welcome to apply, including 2026 graduates
• Opportunity for candidates with regional fellowship training

Pay

$430,000 - $600,000 annually depending on the schedule, subspecialty, and experience.

Schedule

Both day/non-call and call positions are available. Nocturnist schedule also available. Part-time and per diem scheduling options will be considered.
