Pay

  • Compensation: $540,000 annually for full-time services
  • Up to $3,000 annually for CME
  • $50,000 commencement bonus
  • Relocation assistance/allowance up to $10,000 for out-of-state or out-of-area candidates (receipts required)
  • $40,000 Core Faculty Resident Teaching Stipend (if applicable)

Practice Environment

The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily. These include:

  • Acute care ORs
  • Cardiac ORs
  • Obstetrics
  • GI/endo
  • Cath lab
  • Interventional radiology
  • Hospital ambulatory surgery center

Annual anesthesia case volume is approximately 14,300 cases, consisting of:

  • ~9,000 surgical cases
  • 800 cardiac cases
  • 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology

OB services with 3,000 births annually.

Qualifications

  • Active state license
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • DEA certification
