Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join their collaborative team in Long Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac anesthesiology procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
• Manage perioperative care for cardiac surgeries
• Assist with the management of critical care situations
• Participate in continuous medical education and professional development

Requirements

• Active state license
• DEA license
• State Certified Drug Screening (CDS) board certification required
• American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications

Qualifications

• Board certified in Anesthesiology
• Experience with cardiac anesthesiology preferred

• L2 Level 6 OR plus 1 OB suite
• Average 7,388 cases + 1,055 births annually
• Specialty areas: General, Orthopedic, Urology, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, Trauma
• 50 heart cases per year
