Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthetic care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures (excluding trauma, obstetrics, and pediatrics), including pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Participate in resident teaching and clinical research, with a desire to advance those programs.
• Serve in the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesiology Division at Mayo Clinic Arizona, including an appointment to the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
• Manage cardiac clinical practice (coronary bypass, valve, aortic surgery, heart transplantation) and thoracic surgery caseload (complex thoracic/foregut surgery, robotic surgery, lung transplant program).
• Contribute to a department of >50 anesthesiology consultants, 16 residents (accredited for 7 per year), >70 CRNAs, and a dedicated anesthesiology technology team.

Requirements

• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Arizona.
• Board‑Eligible or Board‑Certified (BE/BC) in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of an Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship required.
