Anesthesiologist - Cardiothoracic

Role and Responsibilities: Responsible for providing adult anesthesia management for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures within the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Anesthesiology. Includes pre- and post-operative patient care, with a focus on cardiothoracic procedures, excluding trauma and obstetrics. Participates in resident teaching, clinical research, and program development. Collaborates with a team of over 50 board-certified anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and technologists to deliver high-quality clinical care. Qualifications and Skills: Must be board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology, with fellowship training in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology and TEE certification required. Experience in cardiothoracic transplantation anesthesia and dual critical care training are preferred. Strong clinical expertise, teaching abilities, and research interest are desirable. Key Duties: Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care, contribute to academic activities, and participate in program advancement. Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
