About the role

The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Requirements

• M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• ABA certification in anesthesiology or status as a candidate in the examination system
• Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC)
• Participation in lectures, small groups, workshops, and/or simulation sessions
• Provision of clinical anesthesia at HUP and PPMC, with opportunities in general and/or cardiovascular anesthesia
