Anesthesia Technician II - Anesthesiology
Job Summary
Performs duties as unlicensed assistive personnel under the supervision of the RN operating room circulator the direction of the anesthesiologist and/or the Endoscopist. Provides assistance to the licensed anesthesia and provider in various settings and performs additional duties in Endoscopy Technician role to broaden staff development opportunities at RCHSD. Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and supporting anesthesia patient care.

Responsible for understanding patient anatomy. Coordinates appropriate supplies and equipment based on the patient's age, size and developmental level. Responsible for regulatory compliance, staffing, supply inventory and ordering, coordinating daily assignments. Reports concerns and issues to the supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent
- 3 years of experience
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- 5 years of experience preferred
- Graduate from an Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program
- National Certified Anesthesia Technician
- PALS certified
- Previous Anesthesia Tech II experience preferred
- GTS Certification within two years of training

The current salary range for this position is $33.61 to $46.77 A candidate’s placement in the range will be determined based on the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
