Android Mobile Engineer 4 Location-Remote Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Android Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The role will work closely with Product, Design, QA, and backend teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications. Build scalable and high-performance mobile features using modern Android technologies. Work with product and design teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, stability, and production issues. Participate in architecture and technical design discussions. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to other engineers. Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and backend systems. Implement unit tests, UI tests, and automated testing practices. Monitor application performance and improve reliability and user experience. Contribute to CI/CD, release, and deployment processes. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to engineering best practices. Required Skills Strong experience in Android application development. Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components. Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android development practices. Good understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM/MVI. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations. Knowledge of Git and software development lifecycle. Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Good understanding of mobile security and application best practices.
