Position Summary The PT Clinic Front Office Representative provides excellent customer service and supports efficient front office operations. This role assists with patient check-in, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients promptly and professionallyCollect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and consent informationSchedule appointments and follow-up visitsVerify insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizationsCollect copays, coinsurance, and outstanding balancesAnswer basic billing and insurance questions and escalate complex issues as neededScan and update patient documents accuratelyCommunicate schedule delays to patients in the lobbyMaintain and balance a secure cash drawer dailyFollow front office procedures and HIPAA guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and confidential workspace Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum of 1 year of front office or patient registration experience in a medical settingKnowledge of insurance processes, medical terminology, and scheduling systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalismBilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferredPayment collection experience preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Standard medical office environmentMay require travel between clinic locationsAbility to sit, stand, bend, and use a computer throughout the day
