About the role
The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah, University Health Care School of Medicine seeks three board certified/eligible full-time anatomic pathologists.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the teaching, clinical service, and research efforts of the academic department.
- Accessions more than 35,000 surgical specimens per year amongst a group of approximately 35 subspecialized pathologists.
- Serve as medical directors for ARUP Laboratories, a national reference laboratory owned and operated by the University of Utah Department of Pathology.
- Ambitious opportunities for research collaboration with individuals at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Requirements
- Fellowship training or an interest in women's health pathology (gynecologic and breast surgical pathology) and/or genitourinary surgical pathology, as well as board certification in cytopathology are desirable subspecialties.
- Other subspecialties may be considered, if the applicant's range of expertise aligns with our needs.
