About the role

The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah, University Health Care School of Medicine seeks three board certified/eligible full-time anatomic pathologists.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the teaching, clinical service, and research efforts of the academic department.
  • Accessions more than 35,000 surgical specimens per year amongst a group of approximately 35 subspecialized pathologists.
  • Serve as medical directors for ARUP Laboratories, a national reference laboratory owned and operated by the University of Utah Department of Pathology.
  • Ambitious opportunities for research collaboration with individuals at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Requirements

  • Fellowship training or an interest in women's health pathology (gynecologic and breast surgical pathology) and/or genitourinary surgical pathology, as well as board certification in cytopathology are desirable subspecialties.
  • Other subspecialties may be considered, if the applicant's range of expertise aligns with our needs.

  • Candidates at the level of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor are encouraged to apply.
