Analytics & Reporting, Vice President
About the role
The Analytics & Reporting, Vice President role is a strategic leadership position within the Operations & Reporting function. This role partners with stakeholders across various departments to design and deliver scalable dashboards, predictive analytics, and data visualization solutions that enhance oversight, transparency, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to design and prototype data visualizations;
- Produce and interpret data visualizations for a variety of projects;
- Provide clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis;
- Advise end-users on data manipulation, end-user support systems, and statistical analysis;
- Facilitate and support the exploration of data and exploring its meaning and potential impact;
- Apply advanced data analytics, data mining, AI / machine learning methods to solve problems and develop predictive models;
- Analyze results for multiple functions and communicate conclusions from complex models to a wide range of audiences;
- Develop and maintain the consultative relationships with key business stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing BI needs to meet business needs, along with regulatory and compliance requirements;
- Perform data preparation work (e.g., source, scrub, mine, and integrate relevant data sources) needed for the delivery of BI and data visualization solutions;
- Lead proof of concept projects to test and adopt emerging BI and/or advanced data visualization tools and own the delivery of BI reporting and dashboards from start to finish;
- Support the development of a change management process that facilitates the ability for business leaders to propose and debate new metrics or metric modifications per business needs;
- Support the development of a standard process for defining data requirements, managing governance, creating BI reports and dashboards for use throughout the organization;
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale business intelligence (BI), data visualization and analytics programs;
- Experience in highly distributed complex business and technology environments;
- Influence non-technical aspects of technology change (e.g., business and operational architectures);
- Proven track record working with technical, customer, and functional teams;
- Experience in Credit Risk Analytics or Credit Review Analytics & Reporting preferred;
- Experience with enterprise dashboard and reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Workiva, QlikView, Oracle Business Intelligence, or Business Objects, etc.) with very large data sets;
- Strong experience in wide range of analytics, BI, and big data technologies;
- Experience in areas of Credit Risk or Credit Review preferred;
- Strong experience in metadata process, data lineage, and traceability repositories and technologies;
- Leverage AI capabilities is a plus;
- Demonstrates leadership and communicates effectively;

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in statistics, data science, computer science or in a science, technology, engineering, finance, risk management, management information systems, or related field and/or math (STEM) discipline;
- Master's degree in related area noted above preferred but not required.
Pay
The typical base pay range for this role is $136,000 to $164,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
Schedule
The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day.
