We are the Digital & Marketing Analytics team, delivering advanced analytics products, dashboards, and reporting services to stakeholders in Digital and Marketing. As part of the Customer Analytics team, you will help shape how individuals experience our digital assets and marketing initiatives, advancing the state of analytics across all BSWH digital properties.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document data requirements from customers.
- Analyze and translate requirements into technical specifications, processes, and workflows; may serve as lead consultant for customer contact and resource management.
- Design and develop solutions by analyzing business requirements and source systems, using a variety of toolsets.
- Develop deliverables using the most appropriate analytic tools, incorporating process efficiencies.
- Extract, transform, and load data into databases using the most suitable tools.
- Assess, produce, and develop complex reports, dashboards, interactive reporting, charts, graphs, and tables from various data sources.
- Distribute analytical deliverables to agencies, researchers, management, and other customers.
- Lead validation of output and metrics to ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity.
- Document project/work assignments, including technical details such as source-to-target mappings, data sources, definitions, methodologies, and output requirements.
- Interpret complex data and deliverables in plain business language for executive and clinical staff, creating intuitive and digestible visualizations.
- Develop statistical, economic, and financial analyses to evaluate performance and drive business or clinical initiatives.
- Analyze data for trends, observations, and improvements, and make recommendations.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior colleagues.
Requirements
- Advanced data manipulation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Advanced development skills in enterprise analytical and BI tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, QlikView, Excel PowerPivot, SSRS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or Stata.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to design, develop, and implement systems for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing data.
- Experience gathering and analyzing statistical data to develop reports.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing.
- Experience working with complex data of varying quality and validity.
- Ability to develop clear, user-focused data analytics and BI applications.
- Ability to learn new processes and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or Clinical field) or 4 years of relevant work experience above the minimum qualification.
- 5 years of experience in analytics or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI.
- Experience with web analytics tools.
- Prior experience in a regulated industry (e.g., finance, healthcare).
- Web or mobile app development experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or Amplitude.
- Experience operating in an Agile environment.
- Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Snowflake Cortex.
- Interest in agentic frameworks and creating agents/skills.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $40.35/hour ($83,928/year) for entry-level qualifications up to $62.52/hour ($130,041/year) for highly experienced candidates. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
