About the Role
The Institutional Research, Analytics, and Decision Support (IRADS) team is seeking a Business Analytics Developer. This position will work with customers to gather requirements, create and maintain data structures in our enterprise data warehouse, and build dashboards and reports (primarily using Tableau software). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of database programming (SQL experience is preferred), performance optimization, data integration, reporting, and tools such as SAP HANA, SSIS, and Tableau. The IRADS team works in a fast-paced data delivery environment with multiple simultaneous projects, so excellent prioritization and time management skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from customers
- Create and maintain data structures in the enterprise data warehouse
- Build dashboards and reports using Tableau
- Follow programming standards and best practices to create views, tables, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years of related experience
- Knowledge of database programming (SQL preferred)
- Experience with performance optimization, data integration, and reporting tools (e.g., SAP HANA, SSIS, Tableau)
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Highly motivated with a desire to grow knowledge and skills
Pay
$53,061–$87,526/year
