About the role
Support ownership and governance of analytical and quantitative models, including model implementation, maintenance, and controlled change activities. Perform model monitoring, validation support, and analytical reviews, analyzing model assumptions, outputs, and data dependencies.
Responsibilities
- Manage model implementation, maintenance, and controlled change activities.
- Perform model monitoring, validation support, and analytical reviews.
- Analyze model assumptions, outputs, and data dependencies.
- Conduct data analysis using SQL, Python, and Teradata.
- Validate data quality across large enterprise datasets, monitoring for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Perform root cause analysis for data quality and model-related issues.
- Partner with technology, business, governance, audit, and compliance teams.
- Track and manage remediation activities for data defects and control gaps.
- Coordinate project timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
- Develop documentation supporting governance, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, model development, model governance, or related roles.
- Experience serving as a Model Owner or supporting financial crimes or AML models.
- Experience operating within highly governed and regulated environments.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with stakeholders to drive resolution of data defects and control gaps.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across technology, data, and business teams.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and large-scale data analysis.
- Proficient in performing data analysis and validation using SQL in Teradata environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience with AML Transaction Monitoring.
- Knowledge of BSA / USA PATRIOT Act.
- Familiarity with Oracle platforms.
- Background in Financial Services or Risk Management.
