Analytics Consultant

About the role

As a Consultant, you will leverage strong technical skills and healthcare industry knowledge to support clinical and business stakeholders. This role is accountable for analytical support, consultancy for internal/external customers, and advisory service for internal/external senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Query a wide variety of internal and external data sources to derive meaningful insights.
• Develop dynamic and visually engaging dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Apply business intelligence to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
• Champion initiatives and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to bring them to life.
• Provide excellent communication and presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field.
• Highly proficient in computer languages such as SQL, R, or Python.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Experience in the healthcare industry—payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, etc.
• Experience with version control/collaborative tools, such as GitHub.
• Experience with automation tools, such as Alteryx.

Pay

$61,500.00 - $136,100.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
