Job Brief

Immediate opening for a career path as an Appraiser Trainee (Analyst) in our well-established Charleston Office. The position provides an excellent opportunity for experience and potential advancement within the commercial appraisal industry. The successful applicant will work under a senior appraiser in conducting research and preparation of appraisal reports for a variety of property types across the southeast. Qualified candidates will have a unique opportunity to be mentored on the job and to develop relationships with local real estate professionals as they work toward developing their appraisal career. Applicants must be detail-oriented, analytical, and extremely organized. The position requires excellent time management and communication skills, strong math and writing skills, a professional demeanor, good telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Strong computer skills are a must. This position is full-time and does not require an appraiser’s license; however, a trainee license is preferred. The right candidate will be highly motivated to succeed in the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal field and will be required to work toward a General Real Estate Appraisal License.
