Credit check and C2 security clearance required; must be a US citizen.

Schedule

Partially onsite: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and other days as needed. Interviews will be conducted onsite.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree, or
• 4 years of job-related work experience, or
• 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree.

Requirements

Required Work Experience:

• 5 years of IT experience, including experience developing test plans and/or matrices.

Required Technologies:

• Java, WebSphere, ServiceNow, Windows, and other middleware platforms.
• DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM.
• White-box testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing.

Preferred/Nice-to-Have Technologies:

• Experience testing web applications.

Responsibilities

A typical day in this role involves:

• Testing new or modified applications to ensure compatibility with the client’s operating environment, using technologies like Java, WebSphere, and ServiceNow for integration and validation.
• Creating and executing test plans, including white-box, integration, static, and 508 compliance testing, while working with databases such as DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM.
• Debugging application and environmental problems, leveraging a thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture.
• Supporting systems migration processes and collaborating with clients to improve testing activities.
• Tracking quality assurance metrics and providing recommendations to clients on testing best practices.
• Working in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment that may require 24/7 responsiveness to support technical business needs.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing service for multiple clients, including onsite support as needed.
• Understanding functional connections between applications and utilizing test requirements, specifications, and diagrams.
• Testing data creation and manipulation.
