About the role

The FreeWheel Finance team is seeking an analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills to solve complex issues and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. This role demands comfort with ambiguity, forward-thinking problem-solving, and a drive to optimize processes. Based in New York City, you will report to the Manager, Revenue Finance and collaborate across the organization to drive financially informed decisions.

The Revenue Financial Planning & Analysis (Revenue FP&A) team partners closely with business units to support strategic objectives through storytelling, data-driven insights, and process improvements. You will engage in wide-ranging tasks, from revenue modeling to executive presentations, while leveraging advanced analytics and fostering cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue consolidation and reporting for monthly close and forecast cycles, ensuring accuracy across systems, distilling insights, and sharing summarized results with stakeholders.
  • Drive the revenue budget process by coordinating timelines, validating submissions, and visualizing projections and drivers for executive presentations.
  • Lead the Long-Range Plan (LRP) process, including modeling revenue for existing and speculative products, developing narratives, and liaising with executive leadership for adoption.
  • Enhance business intelligence by updating financial dashboards, tracking revenue KPIs, and generating insights for executive decision-making.
  • Become a subject matter expert on financial reporting systems (e.g., Anaplan, Essbase), ensuring proper usage and leading process improvements.
  • Assist with personnel expenses, headcount budgeting, planning, and tracking.
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams (e.g., Commercial Finance, Accounting, Strategy) to align priorities and support FreeWheel’s success.
  • Support strategic initiatives through special projects, ad-hoc data requests, and deal analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of relevant work experience in financial planning, analysis, or a comparable role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate with limited guidance.
  • Forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to convey financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Anaplan, Essbase) and advanced Excel; experience with dashboard tools is a plus.
  • Team-first mentality with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Comcast intends to offer a base pay range of $75,399.80 – $113,099.70, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus, and sales roles may qualify for commission under applicable plans.
