Your Opportunity: The Finance Analyst, FP&A position is accountable for supporting the financial planning and analysis function for the organization, including regular and ad-hoc reports covering all Regions and consolidate roll-ups. The position also provides key support to the Finance Leadership and will be based at World Headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Key Responsibilities Preparing and providing regular and ad-hoc reports on a daily/weekly basis to stakeholdersContinuous improvement of current reports used and development of new reports as necessaryLiaison with various finance leaders across the business and in-house SSC teamsInitiate improvements in financial processesConsolidate and analyze YTD and project financial performanceMonitor and analyze Financial Statements (P&L, SG&A, Balance sheet and Cash Flow)Weekly/monthly, annual reporting and planning as well as the analysis of the figures (P&L and B/S)Weekly and monthly reporting check list activities, including balance sheet reviews and margin analysis and checking, fixed assets work and follow up of CAPEXCoordinating closing activities, budgeting, planning and budgetary controlSupport ad hoc and special projects/initiatives Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field0-3 years of experience in FP&A or financial reporting/analysis role.Experience working with international teams preferred.Related professional certifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CFA) a plusExperience using financial consolidation systems/applicationsPrior working experience with Hyperion or BPC preferredExperience working with multiple currencies and optimizing the FX strategy of the companySolid knowledge of reporting frameworks (US GAAP) and process optimizationFluency in English language required Competencies High proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem‐solving skillsStrong financial acumen with ability to learn complex reporting systems and terminology quicklyStrong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of stakeholdersTeam player with demonstrated ability to deliver quality work consistentlyTough‐Minded commitment to results with the ability multi‐task and prioritize workload, retaining ownership and accountability under pressureAbility to prioritize and drive results in a fast‐paced dynamic matrix environment Work Environment Hybrid - In office 3 days a week ESAB is a world leader in the production of welding consumables and equipment. Pay Range: $83,329.00-$96,566.00
