About the role
Prepares and files Medicare, Medicaid, and Champus cost reports using established policies and procedures in order to comply with Federal and State regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Prepares Medicare, Medicaid, and Champus cost reports.
- Analyzes proposed cost report adjustments and proposed reopenings.
- Demonstrates computer proficiency with all Reimbursement financial information systems including Compumax, Easy Work papers, Lawson, and Excel.
- Completes assigned goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance (minimum required) or Accounting (preferred).
- Master's Degree (preferred).
- 1 year experience in healthcare (preferred).
- CPA licensure (preferred).
