Analyst, Outreach Coordinator
About the role
The Analyst, Outreach Coordinator at CVS Health is responsible for closing care gaps through various tools and interactions with regional teams and stakeholders. They are the subject matter expert in HEDIS measures and support EMR provider engagement.
Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert in Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) improvement work
- Sets up and supports EMR provider engagement
- Participates actively in workgroups
- Delivers quality information to internal and external constituents via written and verbal communication
- Seeks opportunities for process improvement resulting in efficient and effective work streams
- Works with complex provider partners on HEDIS® gaps in care, remote medical record collection discussions, and education
- Collaborates with EMR provider partners to enhance collaboration between provider and Aetna
- Supports effective medical record capture for HEDIS® medical record review and abstraction of supplemental data
Requirements
- 3 years' recent and related health care experience in any setting
- 1 year of Medicare experience and/or 1 year of HEDIS medical record abstraction experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience successfully performing in an environment where daily/weekly productivity metrics are expected
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with EMR systems
- Recent and related experience working with HEDIS® Medicare Stars experience or health insurance experience
- Health care related experience in clinical, managed care or quality management
- Understanding of CPT/CPTII/ICD9/ICD10 coding and medical terminology
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Healthcare
